The late Mary May at her 95th birthday celebration.

Mary May was a keen reader but in the last years of her life developed macular degeneration and gradually lost her sight. She got relief by using talking books from TPL’s Home Library Service. She appreciated the varied selection and hours of entertainment that library staff brought for her and always looked forward to a new visit. Mary showed her appreciation by leaving a bequest to the Toronto Public Library Foundation in┬áher will.
