Toronto is a true cultural mosaic, with leading arts and academic institutions, world-class hospitals, championship sports teams, and a richly diverse population. It is also home to Toronto Public Library. With 100 branches situated in communities all across our city, the Library ensures all Torontonians have free and equitable access to the vital information and resources they need to thrive.
Founded in 1997, the Toronto Public Library Foundation has raised $100 million thanks to generous support from corporate and individual donors, private foundations and volunteers. 2022 marks the Foundation’s milestone 25th anniversary.
